I/B/E/S provide both Global Summary and Individual forecast information as well as buy-sell-hold recommendations for companies globally, plus cash flow, dividend, and pre-tax profit forecasts. Available remotely via the WRDS.

The Thomson Financial I/B/E/S data is now available on the SOM UNIX Research Network. You can access this data from any UNIX machine: /data/ibes
or a Windows PC from: \\lakshmi\data\ibes. There are three (3) sub-directories located in the ibes directory. They contain the following datasets:

* ibes_int_detail_hist - This contains the I/B/E/S International Detail History - EPS (New Version 2.0)

* ibes_us_detail_hist - This contains the I/B/E/S US Detail History - EPS

* ibes_int_summary_hist - This contains the I/B/E/S International Summary History - EPS

These directories contain the data directly from the CD-ROMs and are dated 3/2002. If you have problems accessing the data, please contact Derek J. Hunt directly.
